quelque chose

I should be a polar bear... but it's impossible.

  1. Labyrinth is still one of my all-time favourite movies. I think I first saw it when I was five or six years old, and became totally obsessed with it. I then rediscovered it years later, and unlike some other childhood favourites such as The Little Mermaid and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I never outgrew it. Sure, my appreciation of the film had matured a lot, but I think the ability of a movie to appeal to people throughout their lives is a sign of greatness.

Jareth was my first crush, which might say something slightly terrifying about my taste in men, but whatever. ‘Course, I now appreciate the tights in a way that went straight over my head as a child. ;) David Bowie’s one of my favourite musicians and I think I have to thank this film for alerting me to his greatness fairly early on.
